Any Cairo-based reporter who didn't tweet BS wouldn't really consider my previous tweet directed at them. #justsaying

@stephenkalin @tekaldas @RamyYaacoub @degner @weskandar and I encourage that to give the government a wake up call on press freedom.
20 Aug ago

@ali_burrasque @RamyYaacoub very low expectations from certain local media outlets.. It is redundant to call them out on bad reporting.
20 Aug ago

@weskandar @tekaldas @RamyYaacoub @degner I wasn't referring to detention per se, but rather to overall dangerous conditions reporters face.
20 Aug ago

@stephenkalin @tekaldas @RamyYaacoub @degner this is something to be discussed with the news agency not me. And no need to get defensive.
20 Aug ago

@tekaldas @RamyYaacoub @degner if situation is dangerous, then they should not be Cairo-based to start with. Curating news is not reporting.

@tekaldas @RamyYaacoub @degner a job hazard is no excuse to not do the job properly, but rather take the necessary precaution. 1/2
